The icon services are only avaiable to Plus and Ultimate license holders.

Enable the Icons8 Service

First you’ll need to enable the Icons8 service, which can be done from the WordPress dashboard by navigating to WPIcons ⇨ Services. Once on the Services page you’ll be presented with a list of Icon Services (similar to the image below) that you can enable or disable as needed.

Enable the Icons8 icon service inside from inside the services page.

Click on the blue Enable button inside of the Icons8 service container. This will enable the Icons8 icon service and redirect you right to the Icons8 services settings page.

Icons8 Settings

The Icons8 service settings page is very straight forward. You’ll notice that there is a single field on the settings page, API Auth Token. You’ll see in the right-hand sidebar titled “Icons8 API“. Click on the “Iconfinder API Dashboard” button inside of this metabox to be taken to the Iconfinder website.

You can also view the Icons8 API Dashboard here.

You will need to create a free Icons8 account before you can retrieve your API Auth token.

Once you’ve created your free Icons8 account and landed on the Icons8 API Dashboard you should see a screen similar to the following:

Copy the value inside of the API Auth Token from the Icons8 API Dashboard and enter it into the API Auth Token value inside of WPIcons Pro.

Enter the API auth token value from the Icons8 website into the WPIcons Pro plugin settings.

Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page to save the API auth token. If you entered the value correctly you should now see a Connected API Connection Status at the top of the settings.
