Uninstalling existing icon sets is a simple process. First head to the Icon Sets page from the WordPress dashboard. You can get there by navigating to WPIcons ⇨ Icon Sets. When on the Icon Sets page, you should see all of your installed icon sets listed.

The Icon Sets page will have all of your installed icon sets listed.
You can hover over each Icon Set to reveal additional action links. As you hover over each icon set you’ll see the action links appear in the upper right-hand corner of the icon set container. The action links are ‘Preview‘, ‘Download‘, and ‘Uninstall‘.

In this example, we’re going to uninstall the custom icon set “Social Media Icons” that we have installed.

Uninstall the Icon Set

Hover over the icon set container to reveal the action links. Hover over the far right icon, the trashcan, and click it to begin the uninstall process.

Once clicked, a confirmation modal will appear asking you if you are sure you want to uninstall the selected icon set.

A confirmation will appear asking you to confirm that you want to uninstall the icon set.

Click on ‘Yes‘ to confirm, and the icon set will then be completely uninstalled from your site.

When the icon set is uninstalled the confirmation window will close and you should no longer see the icon set listed on the icon sets page as an installed set.

Once uninstalled, the icon set will no longer be listed on the Icon Set page.
